heyy!! you can call me rin or miu, whichever you prefer :) i use she/they pronouns,
technically, but gender is literally not real so i don't really care what you use lol.
i'm a 21 yr old english major at an... academically rigorous institution... it's doing severe
and possibly irreparable mental damage to me i fear but we stay ballin lol. i took an
intro cs class in my freshman year where we learned python, but it's been 3 years since
then so i've retained approximately nothing haha. taught myself html/css and here we are now!
i'm down south on the east coast usa, but i moved around a lot as a kid and have lived in
7 different states over the course of my very short life. i'm asian american but very much
identify as an american. oddly, i feel more secure in my identity as an american in the
face of the horrific things this administration is doing: i love my country, and
my country does not love me, and this was never what america was supposed to be,
but maybe this is the way it always has been.
i'm a storyteller and an artist because that's what all humans are, and the main
medium through which i express this is writing! while i do have some... very minimal literary
achievements, i will not be acknowledging that on this website beyond this little line here
because literary institutions are fake and i have decided to release myself from the
burdensome expectations of traditional publishing. currently i am working on this website,
a romance novel i hope to self-publish through kdu eventually, a literary novel i'm not
pressuring myself to finish but if i do it'll hopefully go through traditional routes,
and, technically, my senior thesis in english haha. also this website, which is an exercise
in putting myself out there, getting over my fear of perfectionism, and meeting new people online!

free or harassment or attempts to assess the artist's morality/beliefs through their art:
fiction is fiction, and what is written does not necessarily reflect upon the author's
character!!! this is the stance for and of art, and while i respect the opinions of those who
think otherwise and would love to have a discussion with such people about it, i believe that
such opinions are a reflection of the rising wave of conservatism we see around the world right now.
